Zbigniew Makowski
I have been involved in taxes for over 15 years and have been a tax advisor since 2011. My registration number is 11 722.
I have a unique work experience combining three tax worlds, tax consulting, tax administration and business. I have almost ten years of experience in working with clients, which I gained as a tax advisor in renowned tax offices.
DUntil 2021, I was the Deputy Director of the VAT Department at the Ministry of Finance, where I was responsible for implementing groundbreaking changes to the VAT Act.
Until July 2024, I was the Director of the VAT and MDR Office at PKO BP, where I was able to look from the inside at the organization's needs regarding tax settlements.
My specialty has become implementing new IT solutions for taxpayers, in particular KSeF, and previously JPK_VAT. I created one of the first tools on the market for analyzing JPK_VAT files.
I am the co-author of the book Leksykon Invoicing, published by Unimex, 2011.
I am also the author of numerous articles in Przegląd podatki, Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, infor.pl
My professional experience

I worked as a tax advisor in renowned tax offices, for 4 years I was deputy director of the VAT Department in the Ministry of Finance, for 2 years I was director of the VAT and MDR Office in PKO BP.
I participated in the implementation of KSeF as part of my work in business, I know the processes of settling taxes and the circulation of documents and information from the inside, so I know what is key in implementing new IT obligations for entrepreneurs.
Thanks to my work at the Ministry of Finance, I know how to talk to the tax administration, I know the processes that govern the creation of regulations, and I also know the legislator's intentions regarding the most important changes to VAT in recent years - I prepared most of them myself.
